is "social justice" a cliche?

I know that I throw around the term "social justice" pretty frequently. Is it a cliche? Has it become a trite, stereotyped expression that has lost its meaning? In many ways, I think "social justice" can be a cliche, until we take the time to define what it would mean for us to value "social justice," to practice "social justice" or to teach "social justice." Dictionary.com defines "social justice" as "the distributions of advantages and disadvantages in a society" but I think teaching social justice involves more than just teaching about the inequality of the distribution of advantages and disadvantages. Any thoughts on definitions of social justice? Also, thoughts on whether "social justice" is a cliched term?
